1. What is covered by the 10 Year Warranty?

The 'Home of Texas' 10 Year Warranty covers any major structural defects that will occur in the first 10 years of home ownership. Major structural defects include problems with foundation, framings, etc. Normal wear-and-tear is not included in the 10 Year Home Warranty. All other items, including air conditioner, appliances, etc, are covered by the manufacturer.

2. How can I ensure the best quality for my home?

Here at Simmons Homes, we take pride in our construction so that our homes are always built with top quality in mind. Our homes must pass four separate inspections (Windstorm, FHA, VA, and Municipal) before we feel confident enough to clear it for occupancy. On top of this, because your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, we always provide you with a walk-through of your home before you move in.

3. What is Windstorm Certification?

In order for a home to be Windstorm Certified it must pass many rigurous inspections and be up to strict hurricane standard building codes. At Simmons Homes we make sure that every aspect of your home is Windstorm approved, from the roof to the garage door. By doing this, we can be sure that in case of hurricane you are secure knowing you and your family will be safe.
